Privacy Policy

SalesTeam is a browser extension that helps a salesperson find and act on leads and target accounts on LinkedIn. This page explains what the extension can see, what it stores, and the few circumstances in which data leaves your browser.

1. What the extension can see

SalesTeam runs on several LinkedIn page types, all read-only, and limited to pages you are already viewing as part of using the extension: Posts search results, Jobs search results, Company search results, an individual company's own page, a company's People listing, People search results, and an individual's own profile page. It reads the same public content already visible on your screen, such as author names, headlines, post and job text, company and contact details, job titles and connection-degree badges, in order to find leads, build and enrich your target-account and target-contact lists, and resolve a company's own LinkedIn identifier.

It does not run on any other website, does not read your LinkedIn inbox or messages, and never accesses your LinkedIn username or password. Every scan is started by you clicking a button, and stops by itself when a built-in daily activity limit is reached. Nothing runs on a hidden schedule.

2. What is stored, and where

Everything SalesTeam remembers is stored locally in your browser, using its built-in extension storage: your search topics and filters, the leads found, your target account and contact lists (including anything you import from your own research spreadsheet or a HubSpot export), web research briefings and their sources, drafted messages, your conversations with the advisors, usage and cost counters, and, if you entered one, your own Anthropic API key.

3. What leaves your browser

These features are optional, off until you provide your own Anthropic API key, and only run when you click a specific button or send a specific chat message:

• AI scoring and message drafting sends a lead's or account's name, headline or industry, and post text to Anthropic's API to produce a priority score or a suggested message.
• Sales Mentor and Customer Voice send your question, and whatever lead data those advisors look up to answer it, to Anthropic's API.
• Web research sends the name of a company (and, if you have them, its industry, LinkedIn page or website) to Anthropic's API, which searches the public web on Anthropic's servers and returns a briefing with its sources.

These calls go directly from your browser to Anthropic, authenticated with the API key you provide and control. We never see this traffic or its content. It is governed by Anthropic's privacy policy. No other third party receives data from this extension.

If you use the HubSpot export, SalesTeam creates files on your computer; you decide whether and where to upload them.

4. What we do not do

• No analytics, telemetry or usage tracking of any kind.
• No advertising, and no data sold or shared with advertisers.
• No account or sign-up; the extension has no identity of its own to track.
• No automated or scheduled activity: every scan and every AI call is triggered by you.
• No messages, connection requests or comments sent on your behalf.

5. This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking. Its fonts and images are served from the site itself. Like any web server, the host of this site may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and operation. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply to you.

6. Your control over your data

"Clear Results" and "Clear Conversation" erase the corresponding local data immediately. Uninstalling the extension removes all of it, since it was never stored anywhere else. Backup & Restore lets you save your settings, target accounts, leads and activity log as a backup file (a .zip that also contains readable CSV copies) to your own computer, and restore it at any time. Backups are created and stored only on your device; your Anthropic API key is left out of backups unless you choose to include it.

7. Children's privacy

SalesTeam is a professional sales tool, not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Continuing to use the extension after a change means you accept the revised policy.
